Day 1: Arrival in Tashkent
Arrival in Tashkent. Meeting with driver, transfer to a hotel. Check-in at hotel. Rest. City tour – sightseeing in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, and the largest city in Central Asia. Today you will visit part of Tashkent old city with the Hast Imom complex where world famous Koran of Khalif Uthman- Osman was kept. In Hast-Imom visit Barak-Khan Madrassah, Tilla Sheikh Mosque, and Mausoleum of Saint Abu Bakr Kaffal Shashi. Explore Chor-Su bazaar. Then take the Tashkent Metro to the city center with Amir Temur Square, Independence Square and the Museum of Applied Art. Hotel accommodation.

Day 2: Tashkent – Urgench – Khiva
Early morning transfer to Urgench (1 h 40 min flight). Arrival in Urgench, transfer to the hotel in Khiva (30 min. Walking sightseeing tour with guide. Spend a day in Ichan Kala fortress, included into UNESCO World Heritage list. Visit Madrasah of Muhammad Amin Khan, Madrasah of Muhammad Rahimkhan, Kalta Minor, Kunya Ark, Juma Mosque, Toshowli Palace, Pahlavan Makhmud Mausoleum, Minaret of Islom Khoja. Free time in the afternoon. Hotel accommodation.

Day 3: Khiva – Bukhara
Morning departure from Khiva and transfer to Bukhara (480 km, 7-8 hours). The Great Silk Road once passed through Bukhara and Khiva passed through the Kyzylkum Desert , just like the present day road. A stop along the way to enjoy views of the Amu Darya River and the desert.
Arrival in Bukhara late afternoon, check in at the hotel. Rest time and overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Bukhara
This day you will enjoy a guided walking tour of the Old City. Visit Lyabi Hauz Ensemble, Magoki-Attori Mosque, Chor-Minor Madrassah, trading domes, Kalyan Minaret, Kalyan Mosque and Miri-Arab Madrassah, Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan Madrassah, Ark Fortress, Bolo-Hauz Mosque, Ismail Samani and Chashma-Ayub Mausoleums. Day 5: Bukhara – Samarkand
Continuation of sightseeing tour with guide. Departure from the city to Sitorai-Mohihosa, the summer residence of the last emir of Bukhara. Then visit the mausoleum of Bahautdin Naqshbandi. In the afternoon we will drive to Samarkand (280 km, 4hrs drive). On the way stop at Rabat Malik caravanserai, built in the 11th century. Arrival in Samarkand late afternoon, check in at the hotel. Accommodation in hotel.

Day 6: Samarkand
Meet your guide and driver at the hotel lobby to begin the city tour. Today you will visit impressive Registan Square, remains of Bibi Khanum Mosque, Siyob bazaar, Ulugbek Observatory, Shahi Zinda Necropolis and Gur Emir Mausoleum – the original tomb of Tamerlane. Hotel accommodation.

Day 7: Samarkand – Tashkent
Check-out from the hotel. Continue sightseeing: Afrasiab Museum and the Tomb of St. Daniel. Then a trip to Koni Gil village to see the traditional way of making Samarkand paper from mulberry. After sightseeing tour you have free time with your car and driver. At 16:00 you will have a transfer to the railway station. At 17:00 you will board the high-speed train to Tashkent (300 km). Scheduled time of arrival is 19:10. Meeting and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation in hotel.

Day 8: Tashkent – Kokand – Fergana
Drive to the Fergana Valley (320 km to Fergana city). The steep road connecting Fergana Valley with the rest of Uzbekistan goes through the picturesque mountain pass of Kamchik (2267 m above sea level). Your first stop will be in Kokand town, where you will visit Khudoyar-Khan Palace, Jami Mosque, Norbutabek Madrassah and Kamol-Kazy. Continuing to Ferghana city (80 km). Visit Ahmad Al-Fergani Park in Fergana city. Accommodation at hotel.

Day 9: Fergana – Margilan – Rishtan – Ok Er – Fergana
In the morning drive from Fergana to Margilan and visit Said Ahmad-Khoja Madrasah. Today Madrasah is home to many artisans producing handmade carpets and silk. Stroll through the traditional market and go to the Yodgorlik Silk Factory to see the silk production process with traditional ikat patterns. If it’s Thursday or Sunday, visit Kumtepa Bazaar, the largest market in the Fergana Valley. Transfer to Rishtan to the home iof famous ceramics master Rustam Usmanov, whose works are displayed in world exhibitions. Visit pottery workshop and see the collection of ceramics in a small museum. Continue to Bahrom-aka craftsman’s house to visit a traditional Kyrgyz family making wool carpets. After Ok-Yer village return to Ferghana. Accommodation at hotel.
